Today I have a guest writing on the site, as I’m not a woman I can’t “explain” what it’s like to have a yeast infection. However, I have people around me with knowledge on the matter. No names given the subject, but here is the article:

As kids, we learn things that we either found out on our own or someone told us when it comes to”sexuality.” Boys find out about what their bodies can do just the same as
we do. Once we figured out what we like and don’t like is when things get tricky.

Here is how you know if you have a Yeast infection:yeast-infection-no-more2

When you become a woman, there are different types of things in life you’ll experience which men will never understand. The closest thing to it is “jock itch” for yeast infection. There are no guy in this world that wants it just like we don’t like getting yeast infections. And yet, we can’t help it when they do rear its ugly head. Since it is an embarrassing subject, no wonder it’s done among friends to trust or go on the internet for it.

You may be wondering how you know if you have a Yeast infection. There are itching, pain or burning when peeling or having sex or the discharge look like cottage cheese due to the thickness of it. The vulva get irritation and swelling which is also a sign to look out for. You have no idea how horrible the condition is unless you experience it. All of the itching if you do a lot of it will burn because of rubbing the area with your hands. Another thing to keep in mind about this is to abstain from sex. It can be transmitted to another person so guys have to wear a condom. Either the beginning or near the end of having a period is when a Yeast infection comes up.
You may be wondering how to get rid of it which is to use an over the counter drugs prescribed by doctors if it last more than 2 weeks. For a quick solution that is not difficult to do is to wash the vagina and vulva with just water. Do not use soap. It would irritate the area more. Do not douche since irritation will continue. Wipe from front to back to avoid contaminating your vagina area. Wear cotton and not pantyhose materials since sweat would make it worse by rubbing the area up. Sweat would collect down in the area which you want to avoid or eliminate for future reference.

What you eat is also important because when you eat better, your body chemistry would work itself out. Replace junk food with fruits and vegetables. Lean meat, seeds and beans in place of red meat all the time. Do not drink alcohol and have vitamin E and omega 3 products with you. Omega 3 is in fish and seafood. Wash your body and hair during times when you wash away the test infection. Also consume macrobiotic products like yogurt that would help get rid of yeast infections. How you take care of yourself will come back to you in a good way because you show respect for your own body when do.
