Leg lifts will help you get rid of fat around your thighs. You can perform the leg lift by lying on the floor on one side. Support your head and neck with your hand and raise your upper body up on your elbow.

Keep your other arm relaxed and stretched out along your side. Straighten out your legs. Lift the top leg straight up without bending you knees.

Lift your leg until you feel the muscles in your inner thigh begin to stretch. Hold your leg in the air for 5 seconds and then lower it back down. Repeat with the same leg 5 times for each thigh. Turn over and then repeat the leg lift with the other leg.

If you have children at home, chances are that there is a rubber play ball in their toy box. Use a basketball sized rubber ball to help get slimmer. Sit down in sturdy chair and place the ball between your knees. Squeeze the ball with your knees until you feel your thighs tighten up. Relax and then repeat the exercise. Another great inner thigh slimming exercise is the wall squat. Stand up straight with your back against any wall in your home. Slowly slide down the wall to a sitting position.

Your thighs should be parallel to the floor and your knees bent at a 90 degree angle. Try to keep your hands at your side. Hold this position for 10 seconds and then slide back up the wall to a standing position. You will feel this exercise stretching your top thigh and inner thigh muscles.

Climbing stairs at home is good exercise that will help slim your body slowly. You can use your stairs to perform an exercise that will target and trim your outer thighs. Stand at the foot of the stairs facing the steps and stretch your arms out in front of you. Tighten up your abdominal muscles and place one foot on top of the bottom step.

Keep your other foot planted firmly on the floor. Try to keep your back straight. Bend both of your knees slightly and shift your weight to the foot that is on the floor. Gently push off the ball of the foot that is on the floor. Lift your leg off the floor and point your toes. Hold this position for a count of 10 and then gently return your foot to the floor. Repeat this exercise 5 to 10 times and then switch legs.
